The Aurora Youth Soccer Club
is a federal and state licensed non-for-profit that was formed in October of 2008. Currently the organization is comprised of five active board members. All of our board members, volunteers and consultative professionals are pro bono. The board is committed to making the benefits of youth soccer available to families in the Aurora Township Communities.

John Kiple

John has been the Foundation President and Chair since inception. As President, John is responsible for coordinating the Foundation's business development and future growth plans. John is a Managing Member of a Chicago area Hedge Fund that caters to family office and institutional clients. He and his wife keep busy with their three daughter's club sport and school activities and have lived in Wheaton, Illinois for the past 15 years.
Patrick Ferguson

Patrick Ferguson is the founder of the Aurora Youth Soccer Club
. Patrick was born and raised in Jamaica West Indies and he played for the Jamaica National Team from 1982-1983. He immigrated to the United States to teach high level soccer. Patrick has a true passion for teaching youths. He has been the Head Coach of several boys and girls teams at a soccer club, Team Chicago. He was also Team Chicago’s Pro-Academy Director for three years. He has been a part of their skills and development staff since 1999. Patrick was also the College of Du Page Assistant Head Coach from 2001-2002. He holds a National D Coaching License and is currently the President and Director of Universal Soccer Academy in Aurora, Illinois.
Jeff Hutchison

Jeff Hutchison has been a member of the Board since its inception in 2008. Jeff has been in the medical device industry for 20 years. He spent 17 years with Boston Scientific, most recently as a Senior Market Development Manager. Currently he is Midwest Region Manager for BARRX Medical.
Jeff spends most of his time with his wife Jean, and three kids Jake (14), Sam (11) and Julianne (9). They have lived in the great city of Aurora for 20 years. His passion is coaching kids. Jeff has coached travel soccer for the Aurora Fireballs Soccer Club for the last seven years, just started an independent travel baseball club called Aurora Pride Baseball and also coaches basketball in the Aurora Catholic School League. He served on the Board of Directors for Wheatland Athletic Association for four years as Director of Competitive baseball.
Paul Mifsud

Paul Mifsud has been a member of the Board since its inception. Paul is responsible for managing the finances of the Foundation and brings more than 25 years of financial leadership within the for profit and not-for-profit arenas. Paul is currently the Chief Financial Officer of the American Dietetic Association and its Foundation.
Mark Izumi

Mark joined the foundation in September of 2009. As Marketing Director, Mark is responsible for coordinating the Foundation’s overall marketing communications program, managing the Foundation's tactical program as well as developing individual and corporate level donors.
Mark has previously worked in Aurora for over 16 years with a global precision measuring manufacturer as their Media Marketing Manager. He went on to work at a mid-market industrial distributor in the role of Marketing Director for over five years. He is now Owner and President of Zoom Marketing Inc., a business-to-business marketing consultancy specializing in small to mid-market businesses.
He and his wife Sheila keep busy with their four year old twins. They currently reside in South Elgin, Illinois.
